Jonesboro Velma Christine Edwards Goodwin MeMaw, 94, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1914 in Walcott to the late Stephen and Julia Edwards. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church, where she worked as a nursery worker for twenty years. Mrs. Goodwin retired from Frolic Footwear after twenty-five years.
