Pocahontas - Valerie June Stickel, 75, of Warm Springs, departed this life on November 20, 2025, at her home.

She was born on June 17, 1950, to the late Clarence Earl Peters and Nellie Josie Wilcox Peters in Compton, IL. Valerie was a nurse and loved helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nellie Peters; daughter, Angela Stickel and son, Duwaine Stickel; siblings, Gene Audry Bilderbach, Rosie Smith, Debbie Peters, Kathy Poe, Sandy Bogue, Mary Peters, Carol Peters, and Clarence Earl Peters.

She is survived by her husband, Monty Stickel; children, Troy Anthony Stickel and Joshua Kaine (Jennifer) Stickel; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Evelyn Green, Reeba Clark, and Roger Peters, along with many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
