Obituary
Jonesboro- Vada M. Mize, 74, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born June 13, 1946 in Walnut Ridge to the late Charles and Vicie Adale Prater Keith. She had worked as a waitress at the Elk Lodge and Jonesboro Country Club and as a meat wrapper at Hays Supermarket. Mrs. Mize was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Mize; her children, Alvin Wade Mize, Carla Mize Chrisco and Glenn Edgar Mize; grandchildren, Jenny Smith, Stacy Mize, Julie Mize, Alexcia Burchett, Cameren Chrisco and Kylee Mae Mize; a brother, Bill Keith; two sisters, Mardale Munn and Mary Lee Shug and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Laverne Deatherage and Alma Lee Vinson and two brothers, Clen Keith and Clifford Keith.
A private service was held Friday, June 19, 2020 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
