Bono- Troy Davis Cooper, 61, passed away, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1953 in Lepanto. Mr. Cooper worked for Riceland Foods in Waldenburg for forty years. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and gardening and loved his family and family gatherings. He was survived by his wife, Oleta Cooper; a son, Kevin Cooper of Bono; his father, Cheseldene Cooper of Bono; two sisters and their husbands, Sherry and Larry Clark of Jonesboro and Patricia and Carlos Wood of Bono; three brothers and their wives, Ron and Michelle Cooper of Bono, Douglas and Carolyn Cooper of Jonesboro and Marco and Yvonne Cooper of Smithville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Jean Harlan Cooper. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Kelly Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Markham Cemetery near Egypt. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service, Saturday at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Thielemier, Dustin Thielemier, Chad Moore, Hunter Moore, Brandon Wood and Josh Parks and as honorary pallbearers, Mike Cole and Greg Arender. Lasting memorials may be sent to the Children's Home in Paragould.
