Tonya R. Guthrie, 65, of Batesville departed this life on February 2, 2025, at Imboden surrounded by her loved ones.

Tonya was born on May 19, 1959, to Bobby Lewis and Shirley Rood Lewis in Barstow, CA. Tonya graduated from Sloan Hendrix High School in 1977 and obtained her Bachelor of Business from ASU. She was Director of Small Wonders Preschool in Dexter, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Guthrie.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Shirley Lewis; children, Leah Guthrie of Batesville, Mandy (Brian) Crowe of Batesville, Mica (Caleb) Kirkpatrick of Trenton, TN.; siblings, James (Becky) Lewis of Sonora, AR., and Barbara (Wally) Upton of Siloam Springs, AR; grandchildren, Hannah Spence, Makayla Spence, Emma Crowe, Addie Mae Crowe and Ella Crowe.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. with Eulogist, Jeremy Upton and Frank Casillas, James Guthrie, Chad Graves and Joe Loghry officiating. All services will be held at Imboden First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Willie Joe Huskey, Derrick Huskey, Kevin Upton, Jeremy Upton, Donnie Thacker, Darran Thacker and Aaron Lewis.
