Maynard- Tonya (Smith) Francis, 53 returned to her heavenly home on August 19, 2015. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God gave her strength and peace throughout her life. Tonya was born December 13, 1961 in Genoa, IL to Jennings and Wilma Smith. She graduated from Genoa Kingston High School in Genoa, IL. She moved to Pocahontas, AR in 1991 and married Dearil Francis on May 1, 1997. She was an active member of her church where she enjoyed singing and praising the Lord. Her parents, grandparents and multiple aunts and uncles preceded Tonya in death. Tonya is survived by her husband, Dearil Francis of Maynard, AR; brother, Jennings (Donna) Smith of Cherry Valley, IL; sister, Paula (Smith) Fisher of Ellicott, MD; brother, Paul Wayne (Norma) Smith of Kingston, IL; brother, Stan Smith of Sycamore, IL; 9 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, August 23rd from 2-5 pm at Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Supply, 3482 Hwy 166 N., Supply, AR. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 24th at 11 am at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Supply with Bill Settles officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock. Arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
