Tony Derek Simington, 35, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, left this world on December 20, 2025, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the love of those who held him closest. He was born on January 5th, 1990, in Jonesboro, AR, to Steven Simington and Christine Smart.

Tony lived his life with a big heart and a curious mind. If something had buttons, wires, or a power switch, he wanted to understand it. He loved gaming and building computers. He was happiest when he was outside, whether he was riding four‑wheelers, taking his Jeep down back roads, or just enjoying the quiet of the woods. He also loved to cook, and he had a way of turning even simple meals into something worth gathering around.

Family meant everything to Tony. He carried his people with him in every season of his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Simington; grandparents Harvey and Vivian Simington; and Grandmother Colleen Turner.

Those who will forever miss him include his mother, Christine (Larry Blevins) Smart; his brother, Eric (Jennifer) Simington; his stepmother, Lisa Simington; stepbrothers Steve Stickel and Nick Stickel; and stepsister Heather Jones. He also leaves behind nieces Destiny, Savannah, and Jalynn; nephew Ethan; great‑niece Deliah; great‑nephew Wyatt; and his special aunt Janet Turner, along with many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply.

His memory will live on in the stories we tell.
