Tony Pringle, 87, of Success passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1938, in the Palatka community to the late Earnest and Tallese Cobb Pringle. Tony was a farmer and also worked for Riceland Foods for fifteen years. Tony loved God first and his family second. He had a zest for life and could not wait to get outside. He enjoyed growing flowers, vegetables, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a longtime member of the Palatka Church of Christ, where he faithfully served as an Elder, teacher, and song leader.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Tallese Pringle; daughter, Liz Walls; son-in-law, Elie Bassal and his siblings, Betty Jo Martin, Jimmy Pringle, Almarie Towell, and Sherry Banks.

Tony is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gail Aamodt Pringle; son, Douglas (Beth) Pringle of Mountain View; daughters, Alice Pringle Bassal of Delray Beach, Florida and Karla (Mark) Woods of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Jonathan Pringle, Trevor (Brittany) Pringle, Kaylynn Pringle, Kelle Passmore, Joshua Bassal, Brittani Woods, Marcus (Emily) Woods, Lindsey (Alex) DeClerk, Riley Woods, and Zachary (Jaymi) Bellah; great-grandchildren, Cylas, Swayze, Luke, Chase, Hadley, Ryder, Tallese, Braydon, Avi and Bowen; siblings, Joyce Pringle and Mitzi Pringle; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Corning Church of Christ with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM with Gerald Fears and Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow in Black Cemetery at Palatka under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
