Mrs. Tonia Cheryl Huggins of Weiner, AR departed this life Friday night, March 23, 2018, at St. Elizabeth\u0027s Place in Jonesboro, at the age of 61.
She was born August 19, 1956 in Corona, CA, the daughter of Hugh James Huggins, Jr. and Ruth Jones Huggins.
Tonia was a homemaker and a cook most of her life. She was a happy person and loved to laugh and cut jokes, sing and watch movies. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, looming and craftwork. She also loved to fish. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Wesley Huggins.
She is survived by her parents, Jim Huggins of Bell Meade, TX, her mother, Ruth Case of Wynne, two sons, James Huggins (Samantha) of Cash and Robert MCCullough (Tonya) of Weiner, six brothers, Jimmy Huggins (Donna) and Joe Huggins (Jodi), both of Wynne, Eric Huggins (Lisa) of Bell Meade, TX, Shane Huggins (Tracy) of Omaha, NE, Dustin Huggins (Brandon) of Houston, TX and Adam Huggins (Carla) of Waco, TX, two sisters, Cindy Browillette (Monte) of Marksville, LA and Denise Schwake of Waco, TX, and seven grandchildren, Robert McCullough of Weiner, Wesley Huggins, Nathan Huggins, Joseph Huggins, and Lillian Huggins, of Waco, TX, Victoriania Gutierrez and Dakota Huggins, both of Cash.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29th, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Gregg DeWitt and Bro. Carl Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in Lewis Cemetery at Hickory Ridge. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday evening, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Those serving as pallbearers will be James Huggins, Eugene Burns, David Burns, Jeremy Jones, Jonathan Jones and Jeremy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert McCullough, Robert Smith and Jonathan Webb.
