Jonesboro- Todd Passmore, 49, died Thursday June 5, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born January 20, 1965 in Jonesboro to Martin Passmore and Carolyn Lucille Hoggard Passmore. Mr. Passmore was the former owner and operator of Martin's Cleaners in Jonesboro. He worked in the maintenance department for Whitley and Associates in Jonesboro. He enjoyed boating, fishing, playing guitar, he was a real joker and an outdoorsman. Todd was a 1983 graduate of Nettleton High School and was a member of Community of Christ Church. He loved his mother and father dearly. Todd Loved being the life of the party. His Laughter was contagious and he could cheer up a room. His heart was always for the down-trodden and Jesus used him many, many times to do acts of kindness anonymously. Jesus escorted him home to rest and left his memory for us to cherish. He is survived by his parents, Martin and Carolyn Passmore of Jonesboro; a brother, Neil Passmore and his wife Tammy of Pace, FL; two nieces, Victoria and Mary Ruth Passmore of Pace, FL; a step-daughter, Sophie Bea Bonds and her mother Jeannie Bonds of Jonesboro and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He is preceded by his grandparents Velma and Chester Hoggard and Virgil and Mary Passmore. A celebration of his life will be held 2pm Sunday June 8, 2014 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout funeral Home with ministers Joan Primm and Bruce Primm officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery near Bono. Arrangement have been entrusted to Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home 300 W. Matthews on Saturday June 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm.
