Mr. Timothy Charles Moon of Trumann, departed this life on June 13th, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 54, following a long illness.

He was born November 8, 1968 in West Helena, AR, the son of Charles Spurgeon Moon and Glenda Faye Davis Moon.

Timothy retired from the City of Harrisburg after 12 years of service. He also worked for Kenny Grubbs many years prior to that. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Moon, one brother, Charlie Moon, one unborn daughter and a grandson.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Tena Moon and Four children, Ozzy Moon, Skyler Moon and Valerie Moon, all of Trumann, and Timothy Moon of  Murfreesboro ,TN, his father, Charles Moon, two sisters, Paula Gann and Paulette Jones, all of Harrisburg, and many grandkids and nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be Friday, June 16th, 2:00 p.m., at Farm Hill Cemetery near Harrisburg, with Mr. Jason Webster officiating. There will be no visitation. Eric Jones, Terry Moon, Zach Pretty, Brandon Jones, Dakota Jones and River Carter will serve as pallbearers. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with all arrangements.
