Obituary

Lake City- Tilda Juanita Hall, 86, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Lakeside Nursing Center. She was born April 16, 1929 in Ravenden Springs to the late Will and Eva Wicker Grimes and was a longtime resident of Lake City. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a charter member of the Lake City Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting and teaching the Gospel to her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Lairson of Lake City and Kathie Pace and husband, Jim of Jonesboro; a sister, Oma Weaks; five grandchildren: four great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Hall; five brothers, Leo Grimes, Lawrence Grimes, Leonard Grimes, Lemuel Grimes and J L Grimes; four sisters, Lorine Looney, Lottie Watson, Elena Hall and Lanie Stotts; a son-in-law, Joe Lairson and a great-great-grandchild. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Harlan Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Lake City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm Tuesday at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Adam Seger, Daniel Singleton, Chris Timms, James Wiman, Matt Pace and Ken Grimes and as honorary pallbearers, Jonathan Floyd, Nic Pace and Jake Gilley.
