Reyno - Thurcie N. Edington, 94, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Pocahontas Health Care and Rehab. Born February 4, 1915 in Biggers to the late James and Martha (Hawkins) Davis. Preceded in death by husband, Orville Edington and son, Delano Edington. She is survived by son, James A. (Linda) Edington of Pocahontas. 2 daughters; Vonalea Echols and Wilma (Herb) Kemper both of Reyno. 9 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Sister, Wanda Rhoades of Little Rock and daughter-in-law, Helen Edington of Reyno. Memorials may be made to the Nelson/Johnston Cemetery Trust at Iberia Bank. Services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Reyno Freewill Baptist Church with Anthony Dowdy and Randy Scott officiating. Burial will follow to Nelson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers include: Lindsay Ringo, Gary Echols, Chris Edington, Ora Edington, Cody Edington, Josh Echols, Marcus Woods, and Tyler Ringo.
