Obituary
Mr. Thomas Lafarrel Wess of Harrisburg, departed this life Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 75.
He was born July 21, 1941 in Monette, the son of the late Ira Travis Wess and Goldie Edith Modglin Wess.
He enjoyed woodworking, training Border Collies, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a U.S Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wess and one brother, Dennis Wess.
He is survived by one son, James Thomas Wess and his wife Taylor of Springdale;, one daughter, Shannon Wess and her husband Hassan Mazouz of Harrisburg; two sisters, Patricia Brown of Clarksdale, MS and Diane Wasson and her husband Bill of Poulsbo, WA; three grandchildren, Maisa Mazouz, Salma Mazouz and Sloan Wess, and a host of other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Jensen officiating.
A private interment will take place after services at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
