Mr. Thomas Austin Tucker of Harrisburg, departed this life Thursday, June 9, 2022, at his home, at the age of 70.

He was born July 14, 1951, in Lepanto, AR, the son of the late Judge F. Tucker and Opal Pate Tucker.

Thomas was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.  He was an avid fisherman with his brother and best friend Daniel Tucker. He loved spending time with his family, drinking Busch beer and just shooting the breeze. He also enjoyed playing music with various family relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, a son, Jeff, brothers, Jessie, Paul, David and Daniel, and sisters, Rosetta, Mary, Ann, Margaret and Deborah.

He is survived by three children, Barry Tucker, Christopher Tucker, and Andrea Tucker, one brother, Phillip Tucker, one sister, Joyce Miller, seven grandchildren, Amelia, Bryant, Cindy, Layne Matthew, Grayson and Haden and twelve great grandchildren.

A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 30 ^th , from noon till 7 p.m. at the Harrisburg Community Center. His ashes will be buried at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto.  Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg was entrusted with all arrangements.
