Thomas William O’Donnell, 86, of Pocahontas, departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House

Thomas (Tommy O) was born on May 14, 1940, in Pocahontas, to the late Pat O’Donnell and Minnie Weisenbach O’Donnell. He proudly served 4 years in the United States Army where he spent most of his time in Germany. He was a graduate of BRTC and worked many years at Brown Shoe and Walmart. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Minnie O’Donnell; sister, Charlene Jansen Bergman; brothers, James Jansen, Neil Jansen, and Charles Jansen.

He is survived by his wife, Polly McClure O’Donnell of the home; children, Shawn (Stephanie) O’Donnell and Adam (Brita) O’Donnell; grandchildren, Ryanne (Corban) O’Donnell Richardson, Ryleigh O’Donnell, Riordan O’Donnell, Aoife O’Donnell, and Corwyn O’Donnell, Megan (Andy) Ray, Garret (Ashley) Wilbanks, Madison Wilbanks; great-grandchildren, Caius Richardson; and Bree-Lynn Wilbanks; brother, Rick (Mary Lou) O’Donnell.

Visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:30 am on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with a Rosary at 11:30 and the funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Services performed by Rev. Arokiasamy Madhichetty Irudayaraj, Nelson Henderson, and Chuck Fitzgerald. Pallbearers Knights of Columbus.
