Thomas (T.J.) Joseph King, 43 of Maynard departed this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at St. Bernard's Five Rivers Medical Center.

T.J. was born on August 19, 1980, to the late Thomas Artie King and Roswitha Boyer in Pocahontas. He worked for Pocahontas Aluminum and was of Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Artie King and Roswitha Boyer and brother B.J. King.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Renee King of Maynard; daughter, Ericka (Jarrod) Moore of Reyno; stepdaughter Emily Davis of Maynard; twin granddaughters, Sybil and Sylah Moore who are on the way; brother, Daniel King of Pocahontas; sisters, Melanie Kubler-Fritsch, Ruby Marlett and Daniela Wolf all of Germany.

Memorial visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Dr. Gary Gregory officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
