Obituary

Jonesboro- T.J Haney, 28, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, alongside his beloved fiancé, Willow Searcy, and their unborn child.

T.J was born on March 6, 1997, in Jonesboro, to Rhonda Baker and Tommy Haney, and spent most of his life in his hometown. He had a vibrant spirit and lived life with passion and purpose.

T.J was a talented tattoo artist, known not only for his skill but for the heart he put into every piece. He also loved working with his hands, especially in body shops and doing mechanical work. If it had moving parts, T.J wanted to tinker with it. He had a love for skateboarding and excelled at everything he tried.

Among his greatest joys in life was being a father. His love for his children was deep and unwavering. He also had an immense love for the rest of his family. His presence brought laughter, love, and strength to those around him.

He is survived by his cherished children; Nicholas Haney, Isaiah Haney, and Ellenore Haney; his mother, Rhonda Baker; father, Tommy Haney; grandfather, Randall Baker; great-grandmother, Flossie Hollis; aunts, Diedra Baker, Jessica Thompson, Crystol Schmidt, and Shannon Hollis; cousins, Tyler Mitchusson, Garrett McWilliams, Addalyn Schmidt, Baleigh Schmidt, and Tatum Thompson; along with many other family members and loved ones.

T.J is preceded in death by his fiancé, Willow S. Searcy, their unborn child, his cousin Chance Mitchusson, his grandmother Deborah Baker, and his aunt Iva Jean Brumley.

There will be a service to celebrate his life on Saturday June 14, 2025, at 3 pm at Salvation Ministries Church with Derrick Followell officiating. The burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Mitchusson, Tyler Anderson, Brandon Moon, Daniel Hufstedler, Mark Inman, and John Stafford.

T.J will forever be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the light he brought into the lives of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
