Maynard- Thelma M. Cresap passed away April 14, 2015 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas to ascend to her new home in heaven. She was born on November 29, 1923 to the late Harry L. And Ethel King of Manila. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Clyde H. Cresap, a brother Clifford King, a sister Helen Veach and one grandchild. She is survived by her children Terry and Janie Cresap of Maynard, Dianne and Jim Towell of Norwood, Mo., Lynda and Ronnie Perry of Paragould, and Pat and Ken Boling of Paragould, One sister Wanda Stutts of Manila. Eight grandchildren Darryl Towell, Deede Hilburn, Dewayne Cresap, Kevin Perry, Stacy Perry, Melanie Ward, Stacy Tate, and Jason Boling. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Many loving nieces and nephews. She was a member for over 50 years at Witts Chapel Baptist Church where she served her Lord and Savior as Adult women Sunday School teacher. She loved those ladies and devoted herself to teach them of the love of Jesus Christ. She substituted as a pianist for a period of time and dearly loved being able to play for the Lord. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for Taylor Motor Company in Pocahontas about 20 years. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 12-1 p.m. at Witts Chapel Baptist Church in Maynard the funeral service celebrating her life will be immediately after at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery.
