Mr. Terry M. McClain of Wynne, departed this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his home in Wynne, at the age of 67.

He was born September 15, 1954 in Wynne, the son of the late Ray McClain and Fannie Pearl Payne.

Terry was a 1972 graduate of Wynne High School.  He married Judy Stricklin on December 23, 1978 and they enjoyed 43 years together. He farmed most of his life, but also owned and operated several diners, including the T-Bird Diner in Cherry Valley.  He also worked several years at Halstead's in Wynne.  Terry loved to fish and hunt. He also loved music and was in a band for a few years.  He could play any instrument that was put in front of him. But his passion was his grandkids.  Terry was a member of the Cherry Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Stricklin McClain of the home, one daughter, Michelle (James) Smith of Cherry Valley, one son Michael (Sabrina) McClain of Birmingham, AL, five grandchildren, Rachel Summers, Alexis-Kay Gahr, Ashley Smith, Dakota Gahr, and Logan McClain, and three great grandchildren, Wesley Summers, Gunner Summers and Remi Summers.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Dennis McClain, Steve McClain, and Jim McClain.

Funeral services have been set for Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at2:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Brother Clayton Homewood officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. till service time.
