Obituary
Jonesboro- Teresa Jean Mangrum, 56, departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born June 11, 1963 in Jonesboro the daughter of the late Edward Lee Barton and Lucille Elizabeth Hotchkiss Barton.
Teresa was a 1981 graduate of Nettleton High School and a Baptist. She loved playing bingo and going to Tunica. She loved her family and was the glue that held them together. She was considered everyone's mother and her house was never closed to anyone.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Mangrum; one half-sister, Patricia Barnes and three brothers, Ronnie, Eddie and Mike Barton.
She is survived by her husband Charles Mangrum of the home; two sons, Richard (Ashley) Mangrum of Jonesboro, and Jeremy (Elizabeth) Mangrum of Maumelle; one sister Gail New of Bono, and two brothers, Terry Barton of Jonesboro and Bobby Barton of Brookland.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
