Maynard- Teresa Inez Blanchard, 55, passed away January 20, 2018 at Five Rivers Medical Center.

Teresa was born October 13, 1962 in Walnut Ridge, AR to Donnie and Clara Caruthers Hefner.

She was an extraordinary nurse for over 20 years. Her role as a mother and grandmother was the most important thing to her. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family was what Teresa enjoyed most of all.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Clara Slawson Hefner; daughters, Melissa (Phillip) Wilson, Mica (Jeremy) Craft; grandchildren, Brayden Garvin, Aiden Wilson, Breiana Wilson, Jessica Craft, Abby Craft; sister, Connie (Ronnie) McReynolds; uncle, Monty Joe Wilson; nephews, Chris Johnson, Jeremy Johnson; and niece, Ally Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Hefner; step-father, Gene Wantland; daughter, Amanda Cummings; grandparents, Robert and Hazel Hefner, George and Ruby Wilson.

The family will receive friends and family Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. in McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Her wishes were to be cremated.
