Teresa Marie Benton, 63, of Maynard departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Teresa was born on December 25, 1962, in Wabash, Indiana to the late Raymond Hall and Veda L. Wisdom. She was of Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Veda Hall; daughter, Jennifer Smith; son, Terry Hall; siblings, Charles McDonald, Eddie Hall and Shirley Hall.

She is survived by her husband, Leslie David Benton; children, Christal (Seth) Coulter, Lesa Benton, and Alanta Doyle; grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Chase Hall, Jaxon Smith, Paige Hall, Noah (Abbie) Clark, Andrew Clark, Nevaeh Smith, Zaiden Smith, Johnny Ruiz, Trevor Ingram, Jaxon Pearcy, Brie Avery, David Doyle, Morgan Mooney, and Hailey Curtis along with several great-grandchildren; siblings, Iva Easterday, Dianne Hall, Hilda Zinn, and Goldie Hall. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the Legate Cemetery.
