Mr. Taylor Aaron Martin of Harrisburg, departed this life Friday morning, March 1, 2019, in Jonesboro, at the age of 19.
He was born January 19, 2000 in Jonesboro, the son of Marlin Martin and Claire Brown Martin.
Taylor was a 2018 graduate of Valley View High School and was a freshmen at ASU in Jonesboro. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 4 in Jonesboro. In high School he loved participating on the debate teams and was a State Farmer in FFA. Taylor was an Agri student at ASU and majoring in Animal Science. He was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
He is survived by his parents, Marlin and Claire Martin of Harrisburg, one sister, Kaylee Martin of Harrisburg, his grandparents Margaret \u0026 Doyle Brown of Jonesboro and Shelby Jean Martin of Harrisburg, aunts and uncles, Orville \u0026 Cindy Martin of Jonesboro, Garland \u0026 Diann Martin of Harrisburg, Debbie \u0026 Phillip Long of Jonesboro, Stacie Brown of Jonesboro and Terrel \u0026 Michelle Brown of Brookland, and several cousins and other family and friends.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Mr. Ed Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday afternoon, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Sam Brannon, Devin Pittman, Tanner Shumard, Weston Hollingsead, Daniel Jackson and Aaron Dent.
