Obituary
Tammy Waynette Turner Ward, 41, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at St. Bernard's Five Rivers Medical Center following a three-year battle with cancer.
She was born October 30, 1978 in Rockford, IL to the late Carol Wayne and Mary Ann Donovan Turner. She was a manager at McDonald's.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two step-daughters, Melissa Ward and Shelly Ward; sister, Carol Phillips of Pocahontas; two brothers, John (Debbie) Turner of Rockton, IL and Bob (Tracy) Turner of Pocahontas; special friends, Shane Ward, Lisa Bergeron, Dez Holmes, Angella Hansen, and Carol and Sheila Vallence, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Tammy was a warrior who bravely fought cancer for more than three years. She loved hanging out with her brother bikers and sisters.
Special thanks is extended to Pink Heals of Winnebago County, Illinois.
No services will be held. Cremation has been chosen under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
