Obituary

Mrs. Tami Jean Harkey Little, of Memphis, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life Monday, November 9, 2015, in Memphis, at the age of 52. She was born January 18, 1963, in Trumann, Arkansas, the daughter of Billy Gene Harkey and Alice Easley Harkey. She spent most of her younger years in the Harrisburg area. She was a member of the Church of Christ and loved reading, movies and the ocean. She was the EDI manager at Continental Trucking in Memphis for the past 25 years. She was a member of the democratic women's guild in Memphis, an activist for the Peace Corps, and an avid supporter of St. Jude's. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Kory Bryan Harkey. She is survived by her mother, Alice Easley Wilson of Trumann, three brothers, Michael Harkey of Memphis, Bryan Harkey of Osceola and Dylan Harkey of Kelso, WA, and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015,at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Mr. Joe May officiating. Interment will follow in Farm Hill Cemetery near Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
