Jonesboro- Susan Sanders, 67 passed on from this life on March 15, 2025 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 11,1957 to the late Norman and Sylvia Cooper.

Susan graduated from Parkin High in 1975 and went on to get her nursing degree from EACC. She became a labor and delivery nurse. She worked at both hospitals in Jonesboro. She eventually decided to become a travel nurse and began going to different states to do what she loved. Her last job was with the Missouri Department of Health.

She leaves behind her husband, Vernon Sanders of the home; daughter Summer Graham of Bono; son Jason (Amanda) Sanders of Brookland; three grandchildren Jake Graham, Dylan Graham, and Liam Sanders; two brothers, Floyd Cooper of Benoit MS and Jim (Tami) Cooper of Jefferson City MO; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and her beloved dog, Hershel.

She is preceded in death by her sister Sissy Cooper; sister-in-law Gwen Cooper and two beloved bull dogs Max and Liliah.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025 from 2-4 pm at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private
