Jonesboro- Steven Kelley, 59, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at a friend's home in Pocahontas.
He was born October 20, 1961 in Jonesboro to the late William "Bud" and Lockie Kelley.
Steven was a dedicated employee with Winnelson Co. of Jonesboro for nearly 20 years. His favorite hobby was hunting arrowheads day or night, which resulted in an impressive collection. He enjoyed fishing trips with family and friends. Steven was a good and true friend you could count on. He would always stop to help out a friend or even strangers along the way.
He is survived by his son, Bryan Miller; one grandson, Cash Miller; brothers, Ronnie (Frankie) Kelley of Montgomery, Illinios, Wayne (Glenda) Kelley of Ravenden, Avis (Anita) Kelley of Oswego, Illinois and Buddy Kelley of Belle Glade, Florida; sisters Charlie (Bill) Theede of Yorkville, Illinois and Ernestine Gooch of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Tammy Reed, John Richmond, and Tim Honeycutt.
The visitation will be at 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 1 p.m. with Brock Kendal officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery near Cash.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Kelley, Peyton Kelley, Mark Wortham, Tim Wortham, John Richmond, Tim Honeycutt and Jackie Keas.
