Jonesboro- Steven Rodney Clark, 58, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois to Harold Gene and Gladys Clark. Steve was a co-owner of Trigard Vault Company of Jonesboro and a former manager of Malco Theater in Jonesboro for thirty years and of the Baptist belief. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, rafting and traveling with his wife and was a movie buff! He is survived by his wife, Samantha Clark; his children, Erika Paige Clark and Geoffrey Allen Clark both of Jonesboro; his mother, Gladys Clark of Jonesboro; two sisters, Pat Clark Blake of Jonesboro and Donna Clark of Longview, Texas; five brothers, Roger Clark of Jonesboro, David Clark of Rogers, Lloyd Clark (Robyn) of Salem, IL, Paul Clark (Julie) of Jonesboro and Dennis Clark (Aneda) of Bono; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, H. Gene Clark. A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grey Falanga officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Gregg -Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Calvin Perkins, Eric Timmons, Brad Clark, Zane Gehring, William Dunn and Michael Cottingham and as honorary pallbearers, employees of Trigard Vault Company and former employees of Malco Theaters of Jonesboro.
