Obituary

Stephanie Leann Wycuff, 52, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Osceola, Arkansas to Clarence and Shirley Anderson Medlin, on March 19, 1972.

Stephanie's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and unwavering kindness. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Earl Wycuff, and a proud mother. Throughout her life, Stephanie was known for her deep compassion and her ability to care for others, whether family, friends, or even strangers. She always went out of her way to help those in need, often giving from a place of humility and sacrifice. She also made a lasting impact on her community by starting a clothing closet at her church to provide for those in need; a project that touched the lives of many. Stephanie's love for Jesus was at the core of her being, and although she may not have always had the words, her actions spoke volumes about her unwavering faith. She lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a fierce love for those around her. One of Stephanie's proudest accomplishments was her sobriety, having celebrated 10 years of living a life of recovery. Her journey was one of strength, perseverance, and grace, and she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Stephanie's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her—a woman who knew that true greatness lies in service to others and who lived her faith every single day.

Stephanie leaves behind her children: Dustin Medlin (Amy) and Morgan Medlin (Antonio), as well as her cherished grandchildren: Karsyn Ford and Charlie Rae Anderson. She is also survived by her brother, Donnie Medlin, her mother Shirley Medlin, and bonus children Kaylan Day and Malisha Lawrence. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Medlin, her sisters Lori Ann Batchelor and Dawn Medlin, and her bonus son Thomas Pyburn.

A celebration of life will be held at the Refuge Church in Lake City on Tuesday January 14, 2025, at 5 p.m.
