Pocahontas- Solomon Lee Rex Eveland, 74, passed away on January 5, 2019 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Sol was born on December 31, 1944 in Delaplaine, AR to Chacy and Mary Rice Eveland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Phyllis Wilkinson, Darlene Paulsen; brother, Randy Eveland; and step-brothers, Ralph and Howard Rice.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Eveland; children, Karen (Wayne) Hutton and Chad Eveland; grandson, CJ Eveland; sister, Christine (Jack) French; brothers, Chacy (Marcia) Eveland and Roger (Cherie) Eveland; step-brother, Bill Rice; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10 am with Dr Doug Wheeler and Karen Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include: Randell Eveland, Jay French, Steve Wilkinson, Wayne Hutton, CJ Eveland, Clay Eveland, and Johnny McCord.
