Mrs. Shirley Price Hubert Strickland of Evening Shade, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the White River Medical Center in Cherokee Village, AR, at the age of 73.
She was born September 2, 1946 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Charlie Price and Lorrine Tilley Price.
Shirley was a self-employed vendor for Coca-Cola, J.B. Hunt, Fed Ex and other companies. She was a member of Shephard\u0027s Chapel Church and the family expressed that she was a very good person, will be missed tremendously and was their very best friend and hero.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Strickland of the home, one daughter, Brenda Brecheen of Lakewood Beach, FL, one sister, Vanessa Shelton Higginbotham of Memphis, TN, one nephew, Thomas Goforth of Memphis, TN, two nieces, Sabrina Lowder of Colorado and Tammy Mills of TX, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Memorial services are set for Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Tuesday, noon till 2:00 p.m.
