Trumann- Shirley Howle Minga, 82,departed this life on April 22, 2025. He was born on November 19, 1942 to the late William Sylvester and Edna Mae Howle Minga.

Mr. Minga spent most of his life as a carpenter in the construction industry. He served in the US Navy and resided in Brookland and Jonesboro for most of his life before moving to Trumann.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene Minga; his stepdaughter, Vickie Davis of Trumann; his stepson, Joey Doyle of Trumann; his sister, Sue Haas of Jonesboro, eight step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

Mr. Minga was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Howle Minga; his stepsons, Ricky Doyle and Marty Doyle; his first wife, Judy Story Minga; and his brothers, Charles Minga and Johnny Minga.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 from 12-1 PM at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service to celebrate his life will start at 1 PM with Rev. Mike Book officiating. A burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Haas, Jared Haas, CJ Johnson, Matt Quinn, and Doug Gorman.
