Pocahontas- Shirley Kay McRoberts, 59, of Pocahontas passed away Saturday August 2nd 2014. She was born December 18, 1954 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Joe Eldon and Zelma (Shorty) Loenneke of Jackson, Missouri. She worked for Elder Manufacturing of Bloomfield and Dexter for 22 years. She also worked for Pocahontas Housing Authority for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde McRoberts whom she married in June of 1995 they were married for 17 years and her father, Joe Loenneke. She is survived by daughter, Jaime (Jimmie) Fry of Bloomfield, Mo. Son, Bobby (Amy) Hankins of Pocahontas, stepson Matthew (Elizabeth) McRoberts of Bloomfield, Mo., two step daughters Lisa (Shawn) Grissom of Benton, Mo., Denna O'Dell of Spokane, WA.. Her mother, Zelma Loenneke of Sedgewickville, MO., two sisters Debra (Charlie) Turnbow of Jackson, MO,. Carol (Mike) Haley of Sedgewickville, MO. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements and there will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
