Mrs. Shirley Dianne McArthur of Conway, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life Thursday, January 30, 2019, at the Conway Regional Medical Center, at the age of 67.

She was born, February 19, 1951 in Lepanto, the daughter of the late Clyde Trantham and Marie Stice Mitchell.

Dianne married DeWayne McArthur in 1969 and they enjoyed 36 years together before his death in 2005. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling. She particularly enjoyed visiting castles as she traveled in other countries. She loved her cats and was a collector of Precious Moments figurines. While living in Harrisburg, she attended Calvary Baptist Church and after moving to Conway was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was active in the Newcomers Club in Conway and an active member of their weekly card playing group. She was loved by all who knew her and extremely adored by her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Vickers and her best friend/sister, Cathy Trantham.

She is survived by her step father whom she loved very much, Melvin "Jack" Mitchell of Corning, one daughter, Renae Espinosa and her husband Robert of Conway and four grandchildren, Makenzie Espinosa, Parker Espinosa, Riley Espinosa and Grace Espinosa, all of Conway.

Friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, February 5th, 5:00 p.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg.

There will also be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the Central Baptist Church in Conway. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg is entrusted with all arrangements.
