Shirley Louise Griffin, 86 of Pocahontas went to her Heavenly home Wednesday, June 1, 2023.

She was born February 7, 1937, to Bill Barnes and Beaulah Jackson Barnes in Reyno Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Beaulah Jackson Barnes; husband, Sterlin Griffin; daughter, Debbie Louise Meeks; grandson Heath Lewis; brothers, Jack Barnes, Douglas "Windy" Barnes and Carrol "Bunk" Barnes; sister, Sue Stockwell.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Netta) Meeks, Richard (Beth) Meeks, Gina (Darriel) Woods, Greg (Barbara) Meeks, Rick Griffin, Todd (Lisa) Griffin, and Shawn (Andrea) Griffin; sister, Betty Hufstedler; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. with John McGlaughlin officiating. A burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Shawn Meeks, Jeremy Lewis, Ricky Meeks, Courtney Meeks, Jesse Meeks and Darriel Woods.

The honorary pallbearer is Todd Griffin.
