Jonesboro- Shirley Ellen Griese, 63, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was born on December 23, 1949 at Jonesboro to the late Willis and Ruby Griffin. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mark and Urana Harris of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle Harris -Eggers of Jonesboro, Annitta and Roy Rothenberger of Munford, TN, Michael and Jessica Harris of Lacey, WA and Kristopher Griese and Christie Harrison of Jonesboro; two sisters and their husbands, June and Tommy Wheeler of Bono and Helen and Marlon Cambron of Jonesboro; three brothers and their wives, Johnny and Joan Griffin of Jonesboro, Jack and Sandi Griffin of Bay and Tim Griffin of Jonesboro; eleven grandchildren, Nicholas Eggers, Zac Rothenberger, Katie Rothenberger, Kane Harris, Ryleigh Harris, Tyler Griese, Tristen Griese, Nathaniel Griese and Noah Griese, Hanna and D.J. Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Griese. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Griese, Tristen Griese, Kane Harris, Zac Rothenberger, Thomas Wheeler and D. J. Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Lee and Jim Pitman.
