Obituary

Harrisburg - Shelby J. Hunt, 75,passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. Shewas born on April 19, 1937 in Trumann to the late Albert Odell and Helen Lynell Bandy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mrs. Hunt played basketball in high school. She was a member of the Ladies of EHC Lucky 13 group, Red Hat Club and a member of the Ron Hatley Sunday School Class. She enjoyed doing ceramic, flower arranging, bowling and cake decorating. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Crystal and John Lindsey of Harrisburg; three sisters, Lois McIlwain, Devene Hickey and Debbie Hahn all of Little Rock; a brother, Duard Bandy of Little Rock; a grandson, John Walter Lindsey of Harrisburg; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She wasalso preceded in death by her husband, Billy Walter Hunt on March 10, 2013; a sister, Virginia Landry; a brother, James "Sonny" Bandy. A celebration of her life will be 2.00 pm Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Harrisburg with Revs. Jason Goad, Captain Lovell and Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers areBilly Joe Williams, James Williams, Billy Joe Wright, Howard Pierce, Johnny Wiggington, Buddy Seacrease and Larry Mills and as honorary pallbearers, Lohnes Tiner and Johnny Parnell.
