Pocahontas - Shelby Jean Conway Davenport, 71, passed away May 05, 2010 at St. Benards Medical Center. Born August 11, 1938 in Greenfield, TN to the late Haywood and Lucille (Griffin) Conway. She is preceded in death by daughter, Renee Cathey, brothers, Jerry and George Conway. Two great grandchildren; Steven Esquinel and Trevor Wayne Coburn. She is survived by husband, Jerry Davenport of the home. Daughters; Betty Konecny of Ravenden, Bonita Clay of Stillman Valley, IL., Wanda Frietag of Milan, TN., and Debbie Coburn of Pocahontas. 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Siblings; Barbara Toombs of Dyersburg, TN., Helen Burnive of Sharon, TN., Harry Conway of Huntington, TN., Robert Conway of Chicago, IL., Juanita Wiseman of Clarksdale, MS., and Anna Chappell of LaVergne, TN. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 09, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Masonic Cemetery with Dr. Gary Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 4-8:00 p.m.
