Shannon Lee Poteet, 68, of Imboden passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at his home.

He was born July 23, 1957 in Selma, Alabama to the late Everett Poteet and Christine High Franks. He served in the United States Army, was a musician, and of the Church of Christ belief.

Shannon was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Poteet and Christine Franks; brother, Albert Poteet; grandparents, Onie and Audrey Poteet; and niece, Brandy Green.

Shannon is survived by his brothers, Thomas Poteet of Ravenden, Carl Poteet of Imboden, and Wendell Poteet of Ravenden; sister, Dorothy (Blake) Jones of Ravenden; nieces and nephews, Jordan (Holly) Poteet of Ravenden, Jessie (Savanah) Poteet of Searcy, Aaron (Kora) Richie of Walnut Ridge, Ryan Green of Black Rock, and Amber Seamans of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10 AM at Hope Cemetery with Loyd Barry officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
