Fort Carson, Co. - Sgt Cody Joseph Kane, 24, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

He was born October 18, 1996 in Rockford, Illinois to Joseph and Jessica Kane Jr. He had been active United States Army for two and half years. He had been home schooled and loved to tinker on vehicles.

He was survived by his wife, Sarah Kane; a daughter, Genesis Lou Kane; his parents, Joseph and Jessica Kane of Paragould; a sister, Tyler Kane of Paragould; grandparents, Joyce Ferrell of Paragould, Bonnie Kane and Joseph Kane Sr. both of Rockford; a great-aunt and uncle, Kathy Wright and Jimmy Wright both of Jonesboro; and several cousins and other family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg with full military honors.

All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
