Selma Etta (Ford) Whitted, 75, of Pocahontas entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Born to William Howard and Lora Irene Ford on December 30, 1951, in Pocahontas. Selma was joined in marriage to James Felix Whitted on November 17, 1971. Selma spent her life pridefully caring for others as a CNA.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother, Elmer Ford and sisters, Betty Wineland, Georgia Bauer and Martha Todd.

She is survived by her husband, James Whitted; sons, William “Billy” (Leah) Whitted and Michael Whitted; grandchildren, Jordan (Seth) Weisenbach, Arik Hare, Cheyenne Hare, Hayle Bartlett, and Will Whitted; great-grandchildren, Renely, Della and Colter. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and multiple friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm with the funeral service to begin at 4:00 pm in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
