Sean Patrick Foster, 55, of Black Rock, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Sean was born on July 20, 1970, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Glen Cherry and Catherine Reid Cherry. From an early age, Sean developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for working with his hands. He earned a degree in Autobody and Mechanics and built a life doing what he did best — hard, honest work. Throughout the years, he worked as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and pipeline worker, earning the respect of those who knew him for his dedication and dependability.
Sean was a faithful member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. His faith was an important part of his life and a steady foundation for his family.
Above all, Sean loved his family. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and soon-to-be grandfather who looked forward with joy to the arrival of his granddaughter, Mayzie Layne Larez, due May 23, 2026. He cherished time spent with his children and loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. His strength, steady presence, and quiet kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sterling and Hazel (Cheetham) Reid; Wilfred and June (Adair) Cherry; and John Quincy and Ruth Ray (Bodine) Adams; his uncle, Carl Tweedy; his aunt, Mary (Adams) Tweedy; along with numerous other aunts and uncles.
Sean leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Melissa L. Foster; his children, Jake (Beth) Foster, Gloria (Robert) Larez, and bonus son, Daniel Brian Morgan; his siblings, Craig (Nicole) Cherry, Regan Cherry, and Lowell (Christene) Foster; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who loved him very much.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
