Obituary

Scotty Joe Crisp, age 33, died peacefully on October 25 in Swansea, Illinois. He was a native of Pocahontas and later grew up in Cobb County Georgia. He is survived by his children Adam and Lauryn, mother Patty Hawken and father Randy Crisp, sister Amber Kunkel, paternal grandparents Maxine and Joe Crisp, maternal grandmother Doris Hostler, great grandmother Judy Melton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Art Hostler. Scotty had an avid interest in motocross racing and made a career from it until his ankles caused an early retirement. Other interests included a love for the St. Louis Cardinals, Auburn University football, friends and family, and a good porterhouse steak. He loved animals and was a huge lover of dogs. He was a man with a kind soul and gentle heart. Scotty\u0027s life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by his love are reminded of the preciousness of life. His laugh, smile and love for people will be missed.
