Jonesboro- Scott Alan Gearhart, 56, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his home.

He was born February 7, 1967 in Memphis. Scott worked as an electronic Technician and Quality Assurance Technician for Motorola for twenty years.  He enjoyed going to Beer Fests, Home Brewing and once won a gold medal for his home brew. He loved spending time at home with his wife and cat and barbecuing and making Tiki drinks for his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Gearhart of the home; his mother, Carolyn Gearhart of Jonesboro; brother, Jeff Gearhart of Memphis and his cat, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Gearhart and a brother, James Gearhart.

A celebration of his life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. With a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Midnight Carboys Brew Club of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Mike Jones, John Ollis, Vince Brown, Brian McDaniel, Denise Braden Higgins, Bill Gramling and Mike Slater.
