Monette- Sarah Hazel Tucker, 91, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Flo Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born July 10, 1923 in Pulaski, Illinois to the Charles Frederick and Sarah Katherine Showmaker Stern. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and always had a smile for everyone.

She is survived by her children, Richard "Dickie" Tucker of Monette, Mary Ann Turner (Fred) of Paragould, Patricia Lynn Ballard (Jake) of Leachville, Dawn Rose Milton (Ray), Gary Tucker (Debra) and Bobby Gene Tucker (Vickie Lee) all of Monette and James Edward Tucker (Tina) of Lake City; seventeen grandchildren, Kenny Woodman, Pamela Carr, Michael Gamble, Kevin Gamble, Matthew Mann, Tiffany Rouse, Darian Milton, Ashley Tucker, Kechia Kifer, Lee Tucker, Anthony Tucker, Rita Tucker, Lisa Tucker, Amanda Lee Tucker, Bradley Tucker, Jessica Tucker and Kara Tucker; thirty great-grandchildren; a special friend, Ted Finley.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Tucker; four children, Arthur Edward Tucker, Fawn Sue Tucker, Linda Tucker and Joyce Ann Tucker.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed and Eddie Dunigan officiating. Burial to follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Gregg Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kenny Woodman, Michael Gamble, Lee Tucker, Anthony Tucker, Ashley Tucker and Kevin Gamble and has honorary pallbearers, Matthew Mann, Darian Milton and Bradley Tucker.
