Jonesboro- Sara Bess Keller, 95, passed from this earth at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House on Friday, June 28, 2024. She went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Sara was born on February 10, 1929 in Jonesboro to the late Roy and Bess Carson Sharp. She lived in Jonesboro until she married Dale Keller, former Craighead County Treasurer, and moved to Otwell. After Dale's death in 1981 she finished out his term and later moved back to Jonesboro.

She was a very kind, loving and compassionate person who will be missed by her family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Robert Sharp, Roy "Tince" Sharp Jr, Paul Sharp and Donald Sharp and a niece, Sandra Harp.

Sara is survived by two nephews, Tince Sharp (Brenda) and Donald "Butch" Sharp (Donna); great-nieces, Sarah Harp, Heather Lund and Megan Payne.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024 at Kellers Chapel Cemetery with Alvis Brown officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

No visitation is planned.
