Sandra Lynne Salazar, 68, of Maynard, peacefully departed this life on December 10, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Sandra was born on February 10, 1957, in San Francisco, California, to the late Cecil Calvin Phillips and Mary Evelyn Wise Phillips. She carried with her the warmth, resilience, and kindness instilled by her parents, qualities she shared generously throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lenardo Juan Salazar; her parents, Cecil and Mary Phillips; and her brother, Calvin Lee Phillips.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jason (Michelle) Salazar of Sherman, Texas, and Amanda (Jonathan) Higgins of Jonesboro; as well as her grandson, Cameron Salazar, of Sherman, Texas, who brought her tremendous joy along with great-grandchild, Artavia Salazar; Sandra’s family, friends, and all who knew her will remember her for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and devotion to those she held dear.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.
