Jonesboro- Samuel Andrew Wicker, 58, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

He was born November 25, 1958 in Jonesboro. He attended Brookland High School and worked in farming and construction. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother and grandfather.

He is survived by mother, Jewell Wicker of Cardwell; his fianc, Alice Ragsdale of Jonesboro; a son, Samuel "Andy" Wicker (Lacey Ford) of Paragould; a daughter, Samantha Golden (Garrett) of Jonesboro; a brother, Alvin "Dale" Wicker (Joy) of Cardwell; grandchildren, Colton Wicker, Miranda Wicker, Ava Wicker, Bailey Wicker, Jersey Wicker, Noah Wicker, Cali Wicker, Gage Golden, Madison Golden and Gavin Golden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Lawrence Wicker.

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Hathcoat officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, November 25, 2016 at the funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Travis Troutman, Terry Hammett, Jacob Forbis, Jerry Townsend, Justin Brashears and Gage Golden.
