Mr. Sam "Smallman" Huffstutler of Harrisburg, departed this life Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Flo Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 64. He was born September 8, 1948 in Oneonta, AL, the son of the late Samuel Ethridge Huffstutler and Jessie Bolden Huffstutler. Sam was a farmer for Jim Jim Butler Farms in Harrisburg and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a CB Radio enthusiast and loved his dog Roscoe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Herbert Dowdy, Beulah Jones and Tina White. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Young and her husband Randall of Jonesboro and Debbie Miller and her husband Tim of Harrisburg, four brothers, Dee Huffstutler, David Huffstutler, Norman Huffstutler, all of Alabama and William Huffstutler of Missouri, four sisters, Lucille Fitzgerald of Alabama, Norma Faye Haynes of Texas, Rennie Levert of W. Memphis, AR and Louise Sadler of Tennessee, six grandchildren, Justin Miller (Casey Miller), Bryan Miller, Holly Miller, Shelby Guevara (Michael Guevara), Sam Miller and Courtney Miller (Chad Burnett), four great grandchildren, Austin James, Abbi Miller, Donavan Burnett and Maddie Guevara, and another great grandchild expected soon. Funeral services have been set for Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Bro. Win Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Those serving as pallbearers will be Justin Miller, Sam Miller, Bryan Miller, Michael Guevara, Dee Huffstutler, William Huffstutler, David Huffstutler and Norman Huffstutler. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Jim Butler, Dustin Weeks, Randall Young, Charles "Squeeky" Mathis, Hershel Fitzgerald and Andy Fitzgerald.
